Write Back Soon!

Adventures in Letter Writing
Put down that smartphone and pick up a pen! Texting and e-mailing may have taken over our correspondence, but this snail mail–loving book is ready to change that. Open to any page and you’ll be encouraged to embrace the cross-outs, smudges, and parenthetical asides that allow you to connect to your friends by hand in unique and creative ways. You’ll find prompts for penning short postcard-size notes, ideas for sending cards “just because,” and inspired letter-writing invitations. Let Write Back Soon! motivate your next note or use it to jot down ideas for future correspondence. No matter how you use it, you’ll be connecting with the people you care about the most in ways that are surprising, fun, and heartfelt.

"Write Back Soon! offers the delicious permission to write to one reader at a time in one's own hand. What a concept, in our hurried lives filled with e-mail, Twitter, and texting! The gentle, serious, and playful suggestions in this book are rich reminders that we can create little lines that will become someone's forever treasure." —Pat Schneider, author of Writing Alone and with Others

"Write Back Soon! inspires us to write from the heart and not just with our fingertips flying across a screen. Bravo, Karen Benke! And thanks for the wonderful examples of letter writers far and wide." —Monica Brown, author of Pablo Neruda: Poet of the People
